Give Our MP Time to Work: let’s Be Patient Kintampo – Hon Fridaus

MP, Your MP, Our MP: Let’s Give Him Time to Work

Honorable Fridaus, the newly appointed Deputy Police Liaison, has also voiced strong support for the sitting MP, reinforcing the importance of unity and constructive engagement in leadership.

”Leadership is not a race; it is a journey guided by patience, trust, and shared responsibility. Hon. Joseph Kwame Kumah, our Member of Parliament, has been in office for barely nine months. Let us not measure his worth by time alone, but by the vision, commitment, and impact that will unfold with patience and support.

Every leader works differently some start with visible speed, others build quietly and steadily before their results appear. What matters most is consistency, purpose, and a genuine heart for service. Let’s remember that every effort counts. Some of us may think we could do better if we were in his shoes and perhaps we could, but even then, we would still need the encouragement and support of our people to succeed. Leadership is never a one-man show; it thrives when the community stands behind its chosen representative.

We know Kintampo has been left behind in many areas, especially our roads and basic infrastructure. The visible progress in our sister constituencies has naturally stirred frustration and even anger. These emotions are valid, but directing them solely at our MP may not be fair.

Everyone lobbies differently; influence and timing work in unique ways. Instead of tearing down our own, let us join hands and raise our collective voice to the central government, demanding our fair share of development. When we stand united, our MP stands stronger, empowered to fight for us, to deliver, and to restore the pride of Kintampo.

Let us not be the reason he fails, but the reason he rises above the odds. Let’s give him room to breathe, to plan, and to perform. Constructive support inspires action; constant pressure breeds distraction. We entrusted him with a job, and that job has time. Until then, our role is clear: support him, stand with him, and cheer him on.

At the end of the day, progress belongs to all of us, and together, we can make Kintampo shine again.”
