2024 TV3 Mentor star, Abbi Ima, has advised aspiring contestants of the popular music reality show to prepare themselves not just musically, but also mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually before auditioning.
In a recent radio interview, Abbi Ima opened up about the intense demands of the competition and shared her personal experiences from the show. She emphasized that while musical talent is important, it takes more than just a good voice to thrive and succeed in the high-pressure environment of a reality TV competition.
“… I beg you, be emotionally strong, physically strong, mentally strong and spiritually strong before you go there” she stated.
Her journey on the show won her admiration and respect from both judges and fans, not only for her talent but also for her resilience and discipline.
Abbi Ima is currently in Accra to perform at the Forklex Media Awards at the National Theatre this Saturday.
