Three teenagers have been taken into custody by the Yamfo District Police for their alleged involvement in suspected money rituals.
The minors, aged between 15 and 17, were reportedly discovered performing what appeared to be occult practices in a local school classroom.
Eyewitness accounts suggest that the trio was seen engaging in suspicious activities late in the evening, which raised alarms among nearby residents. A passerby, who claims to have seen the strange event unfold, alerted the Yamfo Police Division.
The report mentioned the presence of a pot containing a substance believed to be blood, lit candles, and various unidentified ritual items. The teenagers were also allegedly chanting words in a language unfamiliar to the informant.
One of the minors is said to have confirmed elements of the eyewitness account during preliminary questioning. However, details remain murky, and investigations are currently underway to determine the full nature and intent of their actions.
The news was first brought to public attention by Bono-based journalist Qwaqu Darlington through a post on his Facebook page. He mentioned that the police are still on the ground, gathering evidence and piecing together what led to the alarming scene.
At this stage, it is important to note that the police have not yet concluded their investigation, and it remains uncertain whether the materials found at the scene were genuinely linked to ritualistic activity or simply a case of misunderstood behavior.
