Abbi Ima threatens to sue Kwame Ghana over edited video

Drama is brewing in the Ghana music scene, and this time it’s between TV3 Mentor star Abbi Ima and entertainment personality and Highlife sensation, Kwame Ghana.

Things got tense after Kwame Ghana shared a video on Facebook that didn’t sit well with Abbi Ima or her team—and now, legal threats might be in the mix.

So here’s what happened: Abbi Ima recently dropped a new video on Facebook, but Kwame Ghana took it upon himself to edit that video—replacing the original background music (which was Abbi’s song) with his yet-to-be-released track “Afa Ma Se.” The move didn’t go unnoticed.

Under the post, Abbi Ima’s manager didn’t mince words. He dropped the comment: “Do you have a lawyer?” Simple, direct, and very loaded. Social media users were quick to pick up on it, with many interpreting it as a legal threat. Others, though, think it might just be a joke or a bit of online banter.

Kwame Ghana hasn’t responded publicly yet, but fans from both camps are already taking sides. Some say it’s no big deal, just content creators being creative. Others argue that it’s a serious copyright issue and Abbi Ima has every right to be upset.

Whether this turns into a full-blown legal battle or just another moment of online drama, one thing’s for sure—the Ghanaian music industry is never short on spice.

For now, lets settle the case by listening to their latest tracks and decide who wins the case with their songs.
