BraDea Foundation launches Sanitary Pad dispenser project; donates to first school

  • Sunyani, Ghana – BraDea Foundation, a non-profit organization that seeks to put smiles on the faces of the less fortunate in the society and has been dedicated to empowering female adolescents, proudly announces the launch of its pioneering Sanitary Pad Dispenser project.

This project aims to provide female adolescents from disadvantaged backgrounds within the Sunyani East Constituency with free sanitary pads, promoting dignity, education, and empowerment.

Therefore, the first dispenser has been launched and  donated to St. Charles Basic School in Watchman, Sunyani, providing free sanitary pads to girls who cannot afford them.

This innovative initiative aims to ensure uninterrupted education for female students, promote health, hygiene, and dignity and break the stigma surrounding menstruation.

The Dispenser: A Game-Changer

Stocked with free sanitary pads, the dispenser offers:

– Convenient access to essential hygiene products
– Reduced absenteeism due to menstrual-related issues
– Empowerment through education and healthcare
